Call for proposals
The "12th edition of JRES - Journey to the center of the virtual" will take place from the 14th to 17th November 2017 in Nantes.
Organised every 2 years, the JRES are dedicated to the ICT community in Education and Research fields : network and systems architects and administrators, IT managers, project managers, CIOs, Security managers, developers and users. The JRES enable the R&E community to show and value their important activity in the ICT area, as well as its contribution to the integration of ICT in our day to day jobs.
The JRES offers a unique opportunity to present, share and discuss the challenges, technical aspects or even best practices, of innovating technologies and services set up in our home institutions or laboratories.
Be it return on experimental experiences, best practices, technical evolutions, innovating services or new technology deployment, results of services/products POC’s , prospective studies, if you have been involved in projects aiming at updating, improving or securing the IT environment of your institution, our community is interested by your work .
Different formats are possible :
- long presentations (35 min) ;
- short presentations (10 min) ;
- posters ;
- round table.
Note that the lightning talks and the Bofs will be renewed this year.
People wishing to make a proposal have to check instructions to authors.
The Deadline for Submission is March 19th 2017.
The language of the JRES is French, but a set of papers written and presented in English are accepted. A simultaneous translation service from French to English will be available in several conference rooms allowing non French speaking conference attendees to follow the sessions. Abstracts will be translated into English
A stand in the exhibition will gather selected papers in the Open Source area. Open Source associations may check the instruction to authors .
The excellence of the contributions are the key to the success of the JRES, so for the 2017 edition to be another exciting event, do not hesitate, propose !
