The posters are full-fledged presentations, only the modalities of exchange with the audience remain different (the presentations deliver information to an assembly, the poster crystallises exchanges around a support). The background is as exciting and requires a comparable investment from the authors. For this, the posters must be accompanied by an article in the same way as the presentations.
The author is informed that the submission of a proposal will require his consent according to the document “authorization" in order to publish contents on the websites of the JRES and his right to the image..
Please note that, only one author (including for round tables) has a free registration for each selected proposal. We note that this free service does not dispense registration procedures that will be via a dedicated space.
Proposals for presentations, posters or round tables are made via the online form up to the deadline mentioned at the beginning of this document. These proposals, for the exclusive use of the program committee, must be representative of the futur article and allow the program committee to evaluate them. The form also allows you to upload an optional document to support the proposals. The program committee will select contributions on the basis of this information..
Your proposals are an overview of your future documents and should include:
- from 500 up to 1300 words for a proposal for long, short presentation, poster, round table,
- at least 200 words for a booth.
the submission to get a booth as an association promoting open source software is done via the online form, by a brief presentation of the association. As the number of selected associations is limited, the proposals will be studied and selected by the program committee.
Documents for selected contributions (Excluding "Lightning Talks", "Birds of a feather" and "stands")
Authors whose proposals (short or long presentations, posters or round tables) have been selected by the program committee must submit their final papers by the dates indicated at the beginning of this page.
This document is mandatory for all types of proposals. It will be added to the online program. It must allow each participant to choose the sessions he wishes to attend. The text of this summary must be registered via the conf-ng and must not exceed 260 words.
The article is intended for online publication:
- For long presentations, the article must be from 15000 up to 25000 characters (without spaces).
- For short presentations and posters, the article must be from 5000 up to 25000 characters (without spaces).

If you are using color in your article (diagrams, photos, etc.), make sure that printing on a black-and-white printer remains readable.

Videos can be inserted in the presentation, the video / sound file must be limited to 1 Go and be in the formats .wmv and .mp4.

- pointers (lasers or mice) are forbidden because not visible on the video.
If you include photos or images in your presentation, make sure they are royalty-free. Your presentation will be accessible on the conference site (after the JRES) and will therefore have a very wide visibility.
You will be able to update your presentation in PDF after the conference if you wish to make small corrections before final archiving.
Posters are printed by the JRES.
The posters are accompanied by an article that will be published on the conference website. The deadline for submission of this article must be respected. The posters themselves must be submitted by the date shown in the table at the top of the page.
The format of posters is free … subject to the following instructions:

The round tables do not give rise to the same organization. A person from the program committee will contact you to prepare with you the round table you have submitted.
As long as you post a photo on the article management website, it will be inserted in the page describing your article and will be accessible from the program, it can also be used for the screening of the program of each session. (see document « authorization»).In the case of multi-author articles, the authors submit a single photo that can be collective or a montage of several individual photos..
A short biography (about fifteen lines maximum), not subject to be broadcast, will allow the session chairman to introduce you to the audience.
Your mobile phone number will be requested to allow the program committee to reach you during the preparation phase and during the JRES.
Upon receipt of the documents, the program committee will review your work and may ask you for inprovments. This period of collaboration and back and forth of articles between the program committee and the authors is very busy: do not wait until the last moment to send us your work and plan if necessary for the proofreading and internal validation. You can contact the program committee for any clarification or request for help to the address firstname.lastname@example.org.
